The Asamoah Gyan Foundation on the 8th of June 2016 extended it work to the Volta Region by commissioning a mechanized Borehole at the St. Francis Training College in Hohoe in honour of the late madam Cecilia Love Gyan Baffour Mensah.

The commissioning was done by Mr. George Baffour Gyan Mensah the father of the Gyan’s, The CEO of the Foundation Mr.Samuel Anim Addo, Prince Randy Opoku-Afriyie, Nathaniel Laryea, Benjamin Owusu Ansah and the Gyan family.

Mr. Anim Addo reiterated the foundations commitment to touching the lives of all and sundry through the blessing God has bestowed on Asamoah Gyan.

Addressing students at the school Auditorium, the principal of the school….lauded the foundations work and said they were grateful Mrs Gyan Mensah passed through the institute.

He pleaded for support also in the area of sports especially football and said St Francis College were winners of the regional soccer competition.

And like Oliver Twist would graciously ask for more. We need a good field to benefit our status as Soccer champions of the Volta region.

He also reserved special praise and thanks to the foundation and captain of the Blacks Stars Asamoah Gyan for his kind gesture.

Mr. George Gyan Baffour Mensah was inducted into the Franco community as a development Chief.
